De Montana, born Dany Katabana on August 6, 1989, in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, is a dynamic artist and entertainer known for his unique musical style and multicultural influence. Raised between DR Congo and Kampala, Uganda, De Montana’s early passion for football would later evolve into a deep love for music—a passion that led him to adopt the stage name “De Montana.” In 2010, he relocated to Norwich, United Kingdom, where he began a new chapter of his life. While adapting to a new culture and language, he pursued studies in English and professional training in carpeting. Yet it was music that would ultimately define his path. 

By 2015, De Montana fully embraced his musical identity, writing and performing original songs in Swahili, Lingala, French, and English. With a sound shaped by perseverance, cultural diversity, and creative authenticity, he quickly gained recognition for his versatility and passion. 

His discography reflects a journey of growth and artistic evolution, with notable singles including: ATTENTION (2019), L’AMOUR LA (2020), BELLE VIE (2021), PAS DE SOT METIER (2022), MONEY POWER (2023), THE LOVE YOU DESERVE (2024), and GOOD GO BAD ft.
